So glad to meet all the Mercer County folks. I spend alot of my time traveling around this County searching for Bruner family that settled in New Lebanon, Mill Creek Township. John, I have a portion of the 1888 History of Mercer County written about my great grandfather, Daniel Bruner but am wondering if there is mention of Henry Opitz in that book. Recently received several pictures taken in mid to late 1800's of the family in New Lebanon, wonderful old portraits, but not identified. Would love to hear from anyone researching subject names.
