Linda, I saw your message the other day about family "Boyer". Have you seen the book - AMERICAN BOYERS by Rev. Charles C. Boyer, PhD - Revised by Melville James Boyer, MA This a large book with many lines of the Boyer/various spellings family lineage. GEORGE MICHAEL BYERS (b. 1828 - son/Michael Boyers 1793) m. MARY GRANT (b. 1837 - daug. of Jonathan Grant & Mary Timbrel) is listed in this book. Jonathan & Sarah Grant are my gr-grandparents. Perhaps this book can be of help to you if you haven't seen.
