There is a book/manuscript entitled "Researching Roberts Roots" that deals with this family and would take Sarah's line back a couple of more generations. --Steve Seiple sseiple@compuserve.com ==== PAMERCER Mailing List ==== >> I missed the post of Stephen Fisher. Ann Nunamaker Smith in her "Retracing Roberts Roots" gives _______Rogers as husband of Sarah Roberts, born 1767 sister of Bishop Robert Richford Roberts. If Sarah Roberts married John Fisher in 1810 she would have been 43 years old. In my database, I have Sarah married to Thomas Dumars. There is a James Fisher Roberts son of Robert Richford Roberts, (b. June 11, 1793) & Mary Critchfield, married Susan Mackey. Bishop Robert Richford Roberts had no children. There were a lot of Robert Richford Roberts. There is obviously a Fisher connection but do not know what it is and after a quick look at "Retracing Roberts Roots," "Frontier Bishop" "Stevenson Cemetary" where many of the Roberts are buried including James Fisher Roberts didn't find the connection. I haven't studied this family for years. Bob McKeon
