Hello Mercer List: I have been following the list on this subject. I believe Heather moved to Pittsburgh and wanted to know the location for the Carnegie. It is at 4400 Forbes Avenue in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. If you can get to Oakland you can easily find it. Amy questioned whether or not the Carnegie had ever been renovated and yes it has. When you go to the Carnegie you want to go to the Pennsylvania Department. All the history and genealogy are in that location. Marilyn Holt who is in charge of the department is also president of the Western PA Gen Society. Everyone there is very helpful.
