Lucy, You mentioned Davis as one of the surnames you are researching. Do you know anything about Elliot Davis who married Caroline Crouser? They lived in Sandy Lake. Their children were Frederick, Jacob, Walter H., Samuel, Hetty J., Sarah J., Harry, and Oliver H.P. Davis. Elliot died in 1870. Sometime after his death, Caroline and some of her adult children moved to the Cleveland area. Does anyone know anything at all about this family?
