I am trying to locate information about my great grandfather John W English (#977 1850 Census) and his wife Elizabeth Caroline Hover. John W (initial only) was born 9-18-1845 nine miles north, 1/2 mile east of Mercer, PA (Cool Spring). His wife Elizabeth was born 9-27-1846 somewhere close to this same location. English family letters indicate that Elizabeth Caroline Hover's parents were Samuel Hover and Elizabeth Pierice. Elizabeth Caroline Hover's siblings: Henderson, Lee, Marietta, Sadie, William, and Emma. There are Hovers listed on the 1850 census, but I don't seem to be able to tie them to my great grandmother.
