Hi there, I've joined this list to try to get information on that slipperiest of ancestors a Jones. (OK, I know you Smiths have a hard time too) My grandmother was MARGARET JONES born in Sharon, Mercer County, Pa in 1875. She has a brother Will and a sister Sarah. That's all I know except that the family was from Wales. Anybody out there looking for my bunch of Welsh Joneses? Any suggestions as to where I could look to find records of my Grandmother that might give me more information? I've tried the 1880 census and struck out.
