Hi Nancy- I saw your message on the Mercer Co. List and just noticed the Bortner name in your signature. When I was a small child my Mills Grandparents lived on the Bortner Farm in southeast (or southcentral) Crawford Co. I think it was taken over by the Keystone Ordinance Works (called the TNT when I was growing up). What do you know about the Bortners or the farm? My Hamilton homestead in Greenwood Township was also part of this war effort.
