I am looking for information on William Franklin,b. 1798 in Mercer Co. died 1842 in Meadsville. His father was Johnathan Franklin. He had a Sister Samantha and a brother. By his first wife (name unknown) he had John, Samantha, Willian and Joseph. By Elizabeth McNutt he had Mary, Harvey, Rebecca & (my ancestor) Charlotte Isobel. After William died, they moved to Wisconsin and later Iowa. Rebecca was kidnapped along the way. Elizabeth remarried a man named Eastwood. Does this tie in with anyone?
