Normally each county record is $10 a search, successful or not. However, all of the County records have been microfilmed. The film maybe ordered for viewing at a local Family History Center (FHC). FHC are located in churches belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A roll of microfilm rents for about $3.50 for about 6 weeks. You can find the address in white pages of the phone book or at www.familysearch.org. For the records you mention, the films are: Birth: 1893-1905, 1 roll of film Deaths: 1893-1905, 1 roll of film Marriages: 1885-1917, 8 rolls of film The staff there will help you identify the roll you want and order it for you. See the web site for the hours, address and phone number. Look under 'Browse Categories' and then 'Libraries'. Here you will also find the 'Family History Library Catalog' Click to enter that search and enter Mercer for place and Pennsylvania for part of. You will get a complete listing of all the categories that films are listed under. The above films are under 'Vital Records' Hope this helps, Carlos ....
