    3. Larry, Roll calls - about twice a year. Rules - Put surnames in subject line and more info in the body of the email. Main rule (same as you'll find on most Rootsweb lists): Only Admin calls for Roll Call. Primarily, this has to do with the time of year and volume of mail. On one of my other lists, a subcriber sent a Roll Call email during Thanksgiving. Really, really bad time as subscribers mail boxes filled up quickly.
