She was the dau. of Adam Black Sr. and Polly Allegan. John Chambers and Elizabeth Black were married about 1805 probably in Mercer Co., Penn. They were the parents of Adam Black Chambers a.k.a. "A.B. Chambers" b. 9 Jan 1808 in Mercer Co., Penn. and died 22 May 1854 in St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri (buried Bellefontaine Cem., St. Louis, Missouri). He was the editor of the "Missouri Republican" newspaper in St. Louis. Adam Black Chambers mar. Elizabeth Mary Graves date unknown.
