    3. Rebecca, Thanks for this information; I am sure that it will be helpful to someone. Did you know there is information about both victims and survivors of the Holocaust at Avotaynu, www.avotaynu.com? Have you checked Ancestry, www.ancestry.com? Perhaps someone else in your extended family has entered information. Do you know what Native American tribe your family was from? My great grandfather, John Wesley MARONEY, b. Aug. 15, 1867 in Wheeling, WV, was half Cherokee; they lived and were buried in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. I could not believe that the Mercer County Historical Society did not have a record of any of the TREATs. Alonzo Lewellyn TREAT, b. 4 May 1840 in Greenfield, Mercer Co., PA. His mother, Theresa Matilda GREEN was born 6 May 1818 in Middlesex, Mercer Co., PA; married Joseph Hubert TREAT of Canfield, Mahoning Co., OH; and 7 of their 13 children were born in PA. It is my understanding that you have to send your information to them by U.S. Mail; apparently they do not reply to e-mail. Send it to: Mercer County Historical Society 119 South Pitt Street Mercer, PA 16137 Contact Mr. James Sewall at 724/662-3490. http://www.mchspa.org Joy Van Houdt Treat-Latsch Genealogy http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/Treat-Latsch ----- Original Message ----- From: Rebecca Ahern To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, August 18, 2003 9:18 PM Subject: Re: [PAMERCER] My Surnames!!!!
