Daniel was from Mercer CO and d. 1870. Have found that same family spelled a number of ways on census reports. Wonder if Daniel could be a brother of your Phillip. Mathews is my family line, but there maybe another marriage with a Klingensmith from Mercer. I have a friend here that is part of that family, but can't get him interested in genealogy.
