Ron or Doris below is what I found on Wm Hosier's on the census I found a Wm Hosier in Neshannock, Mercer 1830 census age 40 to 50 with three sons 2 age 15 to 20 (your Wm?). this could be the father of your William Then in 1840 there is a Wm (age 50-60) and an Alonzo (age20-30) maybe Alonzo is brother to your Wm? They were in Neshannock. I then found 5 Wm Hosier's on the 1850 census 1. IN, 1. IL, 1. OH and 2 in NY, so not sure where your Wm moved to. Not sure if the Wm in neshannock died or possibly living with a relative. Hope this helps a little, Carol
