Liz, since we last corresponded several years ago, have you ever found a will or probate pack for Thomas Gillespie b ca 1775 & died 21 Feb 1853? I still have no proof that he had a son John D. Gillespie b 1804 who m Margaret (possibly Bean?). This John D. is buried near his daughter Hannah (Gillespie) McMahon near Butler Co. IA. His tombstone says born Co Cavan, Ire. We almost got to Mercer Co in Sept as we were going to drive to Philadelphia. But then hubby Jack's knee went out so we flew. What a bummer. Really want to scour the courthouse records there.
