Hello - I'm looking for information on the families of Edward Humphrey and Sarah Long. Edward and Sarah lived in Mercer County, Pa. when their son John A. Humphrey was born, ca. 1861-62. John is my gr. grandfather and on his marriage license to Ellen Boozan, married March 16, 1885 at Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois, he states his age at his next birthday at 23 and the names of his parents as Edward Humphrey and Sarah Long and his birthplace as Mercer County, PA. Family history says that Edward was killed by runaway horses (location unknown) and his wife Sarah then married a man named Hutton. Any assistance/leads would be most appreciated.
