There are at least two Montgomery families in the 1840 census for Wolf Creek. One is the family of William Montgomery and immediately next door is the family of Thomas Montgomery. Does anyone know anything about these families? I am attempting to identify a Thomas Montgomery who married Mary (___) and had Henrietta Graham Montgomery. Mary was born ca 1815 according to the 1860 census. Henrietta was born in 1833. I have no dates for Thomas. I would guess between 1800 and 1815. Mary was 18 when she gave birth to Henrietta. It is likely that Henrietta was her first born child. Of course... these are just guesses... and as usual, I could be completely wrong. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Georgia
