Hello. I have the Naturalization paper of my Great grandfather, Heinrich Hellmann that was issued at the courthouse in New Castle PA.in 1900. I recently found more information on the 1930 census regarding his immigration to the US. Also that there were papers filed to apply for naturalization called "petition for naturalization or a "declaration of intention" which listed much information on the individual's family and place of birth. Does anyone know anything regarding the papers of this sort that may still be found in New Castle? It is possible that other members of the extended family also applied for citizenship there. I learned this from a book on Genealogy called "My SIxteen" that tells how one man found his family through various kinds of documents. Thanks for your help. Fran Keller.
