HI: I recently had a great find, a family bible for the Pauly Family - my gg paternal grandparents. They had two young children die in 1868 & 1869 Lawrence and James Pauly and it states they were buried at Richards Church. Does this sound familiar to anyone? They lived in Sharpsville and the parents of these children are buried at Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville. Thanks for the help. KIM
Mercer Co. Cem. Inscriptions, BK #10, by DeSantis and Dufford, p. 164, Reichart Cemetery, Pymatuning Twp: James D., son of F.B. and G.H. Pauly, d. May 17, 1869, age 4m 3d Lawrence B. son of F.B. & G.H. Pauly d Jan 24, 1868, age 5m 16d Although referred to as Reichart Cemetery, there are actually many by the name of Rickert buried here. Also other Pauly/Polley families.
P.S. According to the book, at one time a Lutheran and Reformed Church stood here. The cemetery is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Rutledge Rd. and the Mercer "Pike".
