Who did he marry? What church did they attend? Who were his parents and where did they come from? When did David Brest die? Where buried? In 1820 there is a David Brest in Sliperyrock Twp., Mercer Co., Pennsylvania [Roll: M33_107 Page: 149 Image Number: 64] along with John Brest and Andrew Brest. John Brest 0-0-0-0-1-0-0-0-0-1-0-0-1 David Brest 0-0-0-0-0-1-0-0-0-0-1-0-1 Andrew Brest 2-0-0-0-1-0-1-0-1-0-0-0-1 I don't find David Brest anywhere in 1810. In 1800, there is a David Brest in Washington Co PA. Were the Brest families in Mercer Co in the early 1800's Brethren (German Baptist, Brethren, Dunkard... part of a church that became Church of the Brethren by 1908)? Were the Brest families German? Is it possible Brest could have been mis-heard as "Bruist" ? Thank you, Judy
