The Twins were my grandfather and his brother. H.H. ( Henry Hutchinson) Forrest was a brother to my Great grandfather George Forrest, who died in 1899. The boys that visited him are older stepbrothers to my grandfather ( the twin). H. H. has a bio in the History of Mercer Co. by White. Both he and his brother served with the Union in the Civil War in Washington D.C. where H. H. served as the left front mounted guard at the funeral procession of Abraham Lincoln. H. H. is credited with obtaining a Civil War cannon for Jamestown I believe.. or Mercer County.
