I am not related to the KIDD family, but I remember when I was researching the FRENCH family, there was a KIDD family living next door to the Frank FRENCH family. This was Elizabeth Township, Lawrence County, OH, and I believe it was the 1880 census. Hope this helps. Ruth Spanaway WA
