Also, an EDNA MOOK, EDWARD D., ALICE I., GIDEON, MARIA M, EARNEST MOOK and Seth J. MOOK. Could any of these names by your family? Jane

    1. [PAMERCER-L] Re: Reed and Bruner
    2. Hi Linda, I'm not aware of A C.S.Reed in what I have thus far but he is probably of the Reed family that settled in Mill Creek Township, Mercer Co. Also, several of the Bruners are buried in Franklin, PA so most likely your grandfather's partnership with a Bruner would be our family. Do you have any knowledge of his first name or what kind of business they were in? Thanks for your letter. Jane

    1. [PAMERCER-L] Surnames - thank you!
    2. Thank you to everyone out there who responded to the surnames call! I was truly amazed! I'm going to alphabetically catalog the surnames we received over the past week and put them on a page (or pages ...as the list is rather large) for permanent reference on the PAMercer site (www.rootsweb.com/~pamercer). So, if you haven't sent in your surnames.... go ahead and do so, so you'll make the list. If you need to add - or change anything from the way you send in the surnames, please e-mail me directly at sanchoinc@aol.com, so we can your surnames read the way you'd like them to. Thanks again. Although Titusville is very close to the border between the two counties, and living just south of Titusville will put you in Venango Co., The city itself is in Crawford Co. When I went there last summer, the Titusville census was done in Crawford Co. Take care, Kathy
