    3. Just a thought, but there is or was a VENETTA's Restaurant in Hubbard, OH. You might want to check this spelling for Mahoning and Trumbull counties in OH. Just a thought. 1. Re: [PAMERCER] Richael/Rihal/Rehel/Ryhal with Jacob Guim
    2. I'm not sure. In earlier census' I find a young boy, who I assumed was a grandchild. In 1850 there is a boy the correct age shown, now whether or not he's the same. I've not a clue. In 1840, Henry had a male 10-15, so it really doesn't make sense that 10 years later he'd be 14. Another of life's mysteries. You just can't imagine what a mess Henry's line is in York and Berks Co. When I asked how someone "knew" something, the answer I got is that he was proven by logic. What is fact is that there were 2 Henry Riegel's in Berks Co. b ca 1759, both had different parents, but I'm sure the parents are related to each other. So I don't see the logic there. Do you flip a coin to logically decide which Henry goes where? Sorry, sour grapes. Karen

    3. Hi again.... Here is what I have in my FTM "notes" page for Sarah.: "B. 5 June, 1767 Maryland. Died 20 December 1845 Mercer Cty. Sarah had the responsibility of caring for the home of her father. His land was located about one half mile north of Leeches Corners. this property was hers after her father's death (Will of RMR), She married a Mr Caldwell. A deed recorded at Mercer states....William and Sarah (Roberts) Caldwell sold land about 1838, 19 acres to Arron Riley, land located Rileys Corners Sugar Grove Twp. History of Mercer Co 1876 states William Caldwell in the year 1806 came from Sugar Grove Township to Delaware Township and bought a farm. This farm was occupied by his son, Samuel, who lives there (1876). The Land Warrant for the Robert Morgan Roberts property was issued to Sarah Roberts in 1804. (Date when last payment was made?)" So it would seem that she was married to Caldwell in 1838, eh? Perhaps this son, Samuel Caldwell, was by a previous marriage????? I have James Dumars m. to Sophia Roberts and they had a son, Thomas Dumars, who drowned in the Allegheny river when he was about 9. This Dumars family moved to Pittsburgh or Sewickley, and both taught school. I believe when they moved from Mercer Co., they took two of Elizabeth Roberts Lindsay's daughters with them afther Elizabeth died. Rebecca (my ancestor, who m. James Mann) and Nancy, who m. Nicholas Way. Do you have that info? Some of it came from the VanDusen book on RMR descendents. The only "Fisher" I have is Ethel Fisher, who m. a Babcock whose Mother was a Chess. A desc. of Thomas Roberts, bro. to Elizabeth, and RRR, etc. Very complicated!! Marcia Mann Duggins > > > > > > Hi Marcia, > Yes, Sarah was the daughter of Robert Morgan Roberts. 3. Hello Bob McKeon, Your information on the Mathias FISHER descendants caught my eye, because we have one Elda FISHER on our tree. We show Elda FISHER was born on 24 Apr 1912, married Charles N. McQUEEN in about 1945, probably in Mercer Co, PA, and she died 17 Mar 1988 in Greenville, PA. She and Charles had a son, Richard McQUEEN, and a daughter, Eva McQUEEN. The only thing we have on Elda FISHER is that she was taken into the home of Dr. Gail Warren KAHLE and Eva Savallio RODEMOYER and raised as a Foster Child from about the time she was 10 years old. Dr. KAHLE and Eva were married on 16 Apr 1918 in Hadley, Mercer Co, PA. No children were born to their marriage. So Elda was their only child. Might you have anything on Elda FISHER and who her biological parents were? Thanks!
