Karen: I have some information on this couple. Not complete, but somewhere I have Jacob's obit. and some notes on descendants. Jacob and Castara's son, Abraham, md. my husband's grandmother's sister. So he has Artman cousins. Also, Jacob's mother (or grandmother?) was a sister of my gr-gr-grandfather--so I have more distant Artman cousins. . I'll try to round up what I have--most of it isn't in my computer. If you don't hear from me shortly, just remind me, please! Evelyn
Does anyone have any information on John Jennings, born in PA abt. 1780-1790 -father, Joseph Jennings and John's wife's name was Mary, also born in PA? I would appreciate any help. Thank you, Sallie [email protected]
Hi Cindy, Sorry I can't help. I just found this Artman family in Pennsylvania yesterday and that isn't one of the children listed.Castrara was a Burton from Illinois and she is my interest. Wish I could help. Roberta Summers
Hi Evelyn, Thank you very much for this long searched for information. Am sure this is the right people. I belong to a lot of mail list and each one of them have nice people willing to help. Again thanks for your time. Roberta Summers.
Hi Evelyn, Glad to see you're back, haven't "seen/heard" you in a while! Would you please add me to the list for your ARTMAN info. I never did receive any of the info from you that we talked about quite some time ago. I tried to contact you several times but I guess you changed e-mail addy's. I would still love to have whatever ARTMAN info you can share. Hope you are doing well! Hi All, I am new to your list and I was wonder if anyone has a cemetery listing for West Salem. I am looking for the grave of Castora and Jacob Artman who was listed on the 1910 census but not the 1920 so I assume they died sometime in that ten year period. I would really appreciate some help on this. Thanks. Roberta Summers
Thanks so much. I didn't think of going to another county looking for Mercer information. Would anyone have any information on "Guy Young Cider Mill" located in Greenville. At one time it was owned by some Linns, possibly Fred or William (William had a son nicknamed Sonny). I am interested in the Linns, but would also appreciate some history on the mill. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Jeri

Hi Helen, I have a notation from your email asking where my Pearson, Lightner, Ubers and Zieglers are from. Pearson - England/Quakers/Chester Co.; Lightner I have some from Shaver's creek, Huntingdon Co., PA.; Zieglers not too much: Rose Family Assn. gave me some information on the Rose side; Ubers - with both my father-in-law, Homer, and mother-in-law, Maria (Pearson) linked to the Uber. . . I am in the Barnes family too. They are from Ireland. Ms. McClelland got me to North Ireland with them. Maria's middle name is Lydia after her grandmother Barnes. Phyllis Mock McWilliams

Joshua GREEN died in Mercer Co., PA in 1828. Mrs. Elenor Jewel GREEN (sp) moved on to Hubbard, OHIO. Joshua and Elenor JEWEL had a son, Thomas A.
