Seeking information on Isaac COOK, born about 1812 in Canada and Thersa GORMAN, born about 1815 in PA. They married and had children in PA. I have the obit for Mary Cook who married Samuel N. HEATH on May 3, 1865 in Andrew, Jackson County, Iowa. The obit has Mary COOK as being born on July 21, 1846 in Mercer County, PA. I found the Isaac COOK family on the 1860 census in VanBuren TWN, Jackson County, Iowa. On that census it has Mary as being 16 years old. Two brothers, Andrew 11, George 10 and two sisters, Lydia 7 and Lucy 2, all born in PA. I have been unable to find them on the 1850 census or the 1840 census for Mercer and Lawrence Counties. This has been a brick wall for me. I can not find Isaac and his family after 1860 in Iowa or any other state either. I know about Mary and her sister Lydia and who they married but no one else. Would appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks. Neal Warber ([email protected]) Searching for the past from the present. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! I am researching William Jennings, born about 1790 in Ireland, married Sarah last name unknown. Sarah, also known as Sadie or Sally, was born about 1803 in Ireland. Her maiden name may have been Wolfe. William probably died between 1850 and 1860. They came to the USA probably 1828-1835. Their son George was born about 1822 in Ireland. He married Sarah Burroughs or Burrows or Burris. Daughter Jane was born in Ireland about 1828. Son Allen was born about 1834, in Ireland or Pennsylvania. Daughter Sarah Matilda was born 9 February 1839 in Pennsylvania. She married Nelson Harrison McKee or McKey 25 April 1861. They lived for many years in Lake County, Michigan. She died 3 August 1924 in Lake County, Michigan. Daughter Margaret Elizabeth ("Lizzie") was born about 1841 in Pennsylvania. She married George William McKee or McKey. They lived for many years in Nebraska. I am interested in any additions or corrections, as well as the parents and birthplaces of William and Sarah. Older children were David, Robert, Thomas, and John. There may have been a daughter Maggie who died between 1870 census and 1877. Their names were Hannah (Finn) and John O'Connor. Thanks, Lita Eastman
