Hi Everyone, I'm trying to find William Metzler born Feb 24 1883 in McKeesport, Allegheny County, PA or possibly Jack's Run Hollow (near McKeesport) He was the son of Conrad and Katherine Ehrhardt Metzler. The Metzler farm was located on McKee Road in White Oak. William and Conrad had an arguement and William left home never to be heard from again. The last piece of information we were able to find on William was an article in the McKeesport Daily News dated 1904 that said he had been injured while working at the National Tube Works. It listed his address as Jack's Run Road. We haven't been able to find him since then. I have checked the 1910 census for the McKeesport and surrounding areas and haven't come up with any matches for my William. Conrad Metzler died in 1939 and the family put obituaries in the local papers along with ads, hoping William would attend the funeral or return home. They never heard from him.
