Summer is here and it's picnic time! For those of you new on this list, last year the McKeesport Alumni Message Board had the 1st Annual picnic. It was held at Renzie Park, the Saturday following INTERNATIONAL VILLAGE! It was a great success and we hope this years will be even better. So here's the scoop......... This is for EVERYONE now..and in the future or even those that might not have a computer that someone here is in contact with. We are just trying to get an idea of how many people are planning on attending the 2nd Annual McKeesport Alumni Family & Friends Reunion Picnic.. August 18 (weekend following International Village) Renzie Park Pavillion #2 over near Palm Street 3 p.m. - they toss us out.. about 10 p.m. Catered...Dj.......Games.....Door Prizes...Raffles.. . We aren't asking for a definite commitment..just an idea. Remember this picnic is for anyone that ever attended McKeesport Schools..(you don't need to have graduated from there) and their family! Kids..parents...grandkids...cousins..even good friends of yours! The cost per person is about $16 and there will be a "kids" price. One last thing, if you live in the immediate area and have a little free time, we could use some help getting ready for this event. The next scheduled meeting will be on July 9, 2001 - 7 p.m. (6 p.m. is you want to eat) at Twin Oaks Lounge, Rainbow Village, White Oak.
