The Vogue Terrace existed into the early 1960's. I know that the McKeesport Class of 1959 had their Prom there. I believe the performer was Shirley Jones. It was a BIG - OLD FASHIONED - night club. Name entertainers of the day. It was located on a road that connects Foster Road with Route 148 - the name escapes me. It burned in a rather spectacular fire between 1960 - 1964? Check the Daily News Achieves - they carried a story of its history when it burned. It's largest competitor was the "Twin Coaches" which used to sit on Route 51 - just beyond where Route 51 connects with I-70. If headed for Uniontown, it was on the North Bound Side on the piece of land adjacent to the railroad bridge. McKeesporter's born 1941 or before should have more details and info than I do. Marc M.
