I recognize the railroad as the "P-Mickey" or the Pittsburgh, McKeesport & Youghiogheny RR, which ran along our backyard when I lived in Greenock in northern Elizabeth Township along the Yough' River. It followed the south shore of the Yough, but I don't know where it crossed the river on a bridge, since there were a number of railroad bridges around McKeesport that could have been used. ". . . the Braddock end of the . . . railroad . . ." could refer to the old Braddock Road, which eventually became PA State Route 48, which crosses the Yough at Boston in Elizabeth Township. On the other hand, it could refer to the town or township of Braddock at the other end of the road. I don't know if the P-Mickey ran through Braddock or not. Jim Parmiter
