I learned to swim there nearly 50 yrs ago. Not long ago I had knee surgury and needed to use a pool several times a week so I went to the Y. I was amazed, the pool has not changed one bit.It still has the original small size tile lining as it did way back when. and the same tiles are on the built in bench areas surrounding the pool .Only thing missing is the diving board. And they changed the dressing rooms ,what was the girls is now the mens , It was like walking thru a time warp when i went there. Even the same old iron gate at the top of the stairs and the same front desk are still there . Donna
