HI list, I am researching Michael TOMAS/THOMAS and Anna ONDIK/ONDICK who lived on Crawford street and then Shaw Ave., McKeesport from ca 1900 to early 1940's. They had lived in McKeesport after getting married but moved to Fayette Co. for a few years. Michael and Anna married at St. Wenceslaus Church, Pittsburgh North Side on 21 August, 1893. Michael died 5 September, 1942 and Anna died on 5 February, 1945. Both attended Holy Trinity, McKeesport and are buried at Calvary cemetery, Port Vue. Michael and Anna had at least 10 children: Michael Francis, bn ca 1894; md Mary MATTOE at McKeesport on 2 Sep., 1914. John Edward, bn 22 May, 1895 McKeesport; md Mary Irene LIPNICKY at McKeesport on 11 July, 1917; died 27 April, 1970, buried Calvary - Port Vue. George, 12 Nov 1896; never marrieed, died 4 June, 1931, buried Calvary - Port Vue Mary, bn ca 1901; md John ZURAVCIK at McKeesport on 9 May, 1923 Andrew C, bn ca 1903; md Anna STASH at McKeesport on 20 May, 1925 Joseph Francis bn 21 May, 1904; md Anna HYDUK at McKeesport 26 June, 1926; died 9 April, 1968, buried Calvary - Port Vue Steven Vincent, bn 16 Feb, 1908; md Nettie MANNING at McKeesport on 7 May, 1946 Veronica, bn 1 Jan, 1910; md Michael CANO at McKeesport on 29 sep, 1945; died 23 Nov, 1999 Albert, bn ca 1911, believed to have entered priesthood James Jerome bn 25 Dec 1915, md Annabelle MARKLE; died 5 Dec 1988 at Glassport, buried Calvary - PortVue. Michael and Anna were born in Slovakia. Catholic baptismal records for the early children indicate they were from Zemplin (not clear whether the village or county). According to the Catholic record of their marriage Michael's parents were Tomas Valenciak and Anna SIMKO; Anna's were Michael and Insamia KONUNSKY Adrian Fenton Wexford, PA
