Hi: I'm new to the list and am working (with another author) on a book on the 9th Pennsylvania Reserves (38th PA Infantry) which was raised in western PA. Company I also known as the McKeesport Union Guards was a part of this unit. I'm looking for information on any soldier that served in this unit. I have been working on this since 1994 and have amassed biographical information on the 1200+ soldiers who were a part of this unit. If you have a relative in this unit, I will share my info at no cost. Since I only have info on this one unit, I cannot provide information on any other regiment. Thanks. Jim
