Dear Erin: Perhaps there was some agreement about burials between Catholics and Protestants on this. I know I have Protestant relatives buried on the left side as you come up Coursin St. to O'Neil Blvd. I wonder if perhaps it was because of the flu epidemic of 1918 or another epidemic of some kind - and necessity dictated that mixture.
