If memory serves me right-- in the 50s there was also a riding stable where Rainbow VIllage shops are now located. And there was a Nolders cafe on the corner of the intersection ( or very close to the corner ) The pool was huge . I recently came across a picture of it and it is even bigger than I remembered it being. Rainbow was an inexpensive place to have a day of fun. I too only went to Kennywood once a year but a trip to Rainbow was one we could do often . Donna
