GODDING A memorial service for William L. Godding, 53, of Ontario Avenue, an employee of Niagara Falls Business Forms, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in First Congregational United Church of Christ, 822 Cleveland Ave. Godding died Tuesday (May 22, 1990) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Bradford, Pa., Godding attended Niagara County Community College. He was a printer for the Bradford Era for a few years and then for the Niagara Gazette from 1968 to 1986. He joined Niagara Falls Business Forms as a collator in 1987. Godding was a member of the International Typographical Union at the Niagara Gazette. He had served for several years in the Naval Reserve. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Wolcott Godding; four sons, Kent of Woodley, Calif., David of Zolfo Springs, Fla., and Charles G. and Daniel A., both of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Theresa of Olean and Patricia G. Courtney of Jackson, S.C.; a stepson, Brett L. Wolcott of Sanborn; his mother, Velma Godding of Bradford; two sisters, Pearl Merritt of Rochester and Louise Kemick of Derrick City, Pa., and two grandchildren.
