Died Friday, May 29, 1987, in Baton Rouge. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, born in Kansas City, Mo., and reared in Bradford Pa. He was a retired Transco Inc. division manager. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. until religious services, 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. William Nowell. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Charlotte Hoffmeister Buckingham; two sons, Neil H. Buckingham, Slidell, and Gregg H. Buckingham, Baton Rouge; a daughter-in-law, Michele Buckingham, Slidell; and two grandchildren, Travis and Courtney Buckingham, both of Slidell. He was a Mason and a member of Union Lodge No. 334, F&AM, Bradford. He was a 1938 graduate of Duke University.
