Berenda BERENDA Ethel W., born May 24, 1922, died Jan. 5, 1986 in OKC. She grew up in Bradford PA., but had resided in Norman since 1967. She held a Bachelors degree and an MSW degree from OU, where she established a private practice in the field of social work. She was respected by her colleagues as well as the many patients who came to her for help over the years. She will be remembered lovingly as a devoted mother, dedicated professional, loyal friend, and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Beals; a son, Larry Ross; son and daughter-in-law, James and Sharon Ross; grandchildren, Stacy and Erin Beals, Brian Ross and Rachel Lewis; brothers, Maxwell, Arthur Jr. and Douglas Warren; sisters, Adele Schneider and Sara Christjohn; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2pm Wednesday, Jan. 8, in the Chapel of Resurrection Cemetery, directed by Guardian West.
