BUTLER Marjorie O. Butler, 89, a former resident of East Fayette Street, died Sunday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. A native of Bradford, Pa., Mrs. Butler lived in Syracuse since 1922. She was employed with Continental Can Co. during World War II. Her husband, Donald M., died in 1987. Mrs. Butler was a 70-year member of First United Methodist Church of Syracuse. She sang many years in the choir and was a member of the church's World Friendship Circle. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are two sons, Miller B. of Camillus and David L. of Willimantic, Conn.; a daughter, Doreen M. Butler of Syracuse; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairchild & Meech DeWitt Chapel, the Rev. John E. Holt officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
