Pickett, 59, died March 23, 1986. Mrs. Pickett was a long-time secretary for Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church. She was born in Bradford, Pa., and lived 24 years in Tallmadge. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, the church choir, and the Ladies Guild. She served also as secretary for the Tallmadge City Civil Service Commission and to the Board of Zoning Appeals. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Shirley M. Pickett of San Francisco, Calif.; son, John D. Pickett of Tallmadge; mother, Mrs. Cleo J. O'Herron of Akron; and brothers, Paul O'Herron of Toledo, and E.J. O'Herron of Cuyahoga Falls.
