SHOWNES Hilder Olson Shownes, 83, of 25 Hockeborne Ave. died Monday at her home. A native of Bradford, Pa., Mrs. Shownes lived in Auburn 54 years. Her husband, George C., died in 1975. Mrs. Shownes was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and its Golden Rule and the Women's Association. She also was a member of the Auburn Senior Citizens and its nutrition program. Surviving are three nieces and four nephews. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Carol McCartney officiating. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Langham Funeral Home, 6 Lewis St. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Church
