I received the recent email from Mike Wennin regarding the McKean County Genealogy Society in Bradford. Does anybody know the contact person for this group? I would like to join. Has anybody had any success with the McKean County Historical Society at Smethport? I have sent several letters over the past year about becoming a member and have never had a response. When I worked at the Courthouse they were putting the finishing touches on their new headquarters in the old jail, so I know they are still in existence. Bradford Landmark Society? I know their hours are limited so I email from their Web site, but emails have never been responded to. Anybody having any suggestions about how to contact the genealogy society, or suggestions on how to receive a response from the latter two would be appreciated. Maureen M.
