She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Bradford, Pa. She lived most of her Êlife in Lorain. Miss Tassone was an inspector for 41 years at the former American Crucible, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain. She was an avid reader and loved animals, especially dogs. Survivors include her sisters Carmela Monia of Lorain and Yolanda Pisciotta of Buena Park, California; half brother, Frank Tassone of Winnetka, Calif.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Mary (nee Vaccaro) Tassone; brothers Joseph and Patrick; and half brother, Peter Tassone. Friends may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Services there Thursday at 9:30 a.m. will be followed at 10 a.m. by Mass in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain
