A native of Bradford, Pa., he moved to this area 18 years ago from Cleveland. He was a retired brakeman for the River Terminal Railroad Co. in Cleveland, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Order of the Cooties and United Transportation Union Local 1661 in Cleveland and a Methodist. He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ann Silverthorn of Port Charlotte,, and Estella Dambrowski of Yorkville, Ohio. He had a companion, Jean Rozmus of Hudson.
