This is what I have found so far: A.T. Robbins was found in book titled "The Heritage Collection - History and Geography", McKean County Historical Society published by J.H. Beers & Co. 1890. The Borough of Eldred, PA was incorporated in 1880. A.T. Robbins was the second "borough justice." A.T. died Jul 16, 1910 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Eldred, PA in an unmarked grave. We found the plot on cemetery map of Eldred undertaker (Mr.Frame). 1900 census shows that he was an unemployed blacksmith who could read, write and speak English, rented his house at 60 King Street, Eldred PA. A.T. Robbins was born Apr 29, 1833, possibly in Cherry Valley, NY. or in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. In the "History of Otsego County, New York", p.245, Albert T. Robbins is included in a listing of "those who enlisted from Otego in the late Rebellion, as compiled by J.S.Beardsley in 1865, and revised by W. Birdsall in 1877." A.T. was married to Rose Gertrude Coon. They had 3 sons, Earl (my grandfather), Charles and Louis, all of whom were born in Eldred PA. I really would appreciate any information you can find and am willing to pay for any search services. Just let me know. Thanks! Jeanne Robbins Peterson
