Her husband, Peter J., died in 1944. Mrs. Deles was the owner and operator of the former Comet Restaurant in Skaneateles. Mrs. Deles was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Skaneateles. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Deles of Cayuga, Barbara Vargason of Skaneateles and Sally White of Middletown; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund of St. James Episcopal Church. Robert D. Mrs. Rausch, 67, died Thursday (August 16, 1990) in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Bradford, Pa., Mrs. Rausch attended Bradford High School and later graduated from the Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. For many years, she worked periodically as a nurse in the Buffalo area and also was a volunteer nurse for Sister's Hospital, Buffalo General Hospital and the Red Cross Blood Bank, traveling across the Western New York area for 10 years. Her husband, Dr. Carlton C. Rausch, died in 1970. She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Boehm of King of Prussia, Pa., Stephanie Ann of Snyder, Melissa Maldovan and Susan; a son, Jeffrey of Snyder; a sister, Claire Smeigh of Bradford; a brother, James L. Martin of Chicago, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral was held Monday at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, Pa., with the Rev. Richard Hartmen officiating. Burial was in Eldred, Pa. Surviving are his wife, Lillian; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon C. (Elizabeth P.) Mauk, Massena; four grandchildren, Joyce E. Mauk M.D., Blue Bell, Pa., Capt. Heidi M. Gruner, West Point, Analee R. Mauk, Brny Mawr, and Andrew R. Mauk, Massena, and three great-grandchildren. Born on Aug. 3, 1906, he was a 1924 graduate of Eldred High School. He married Lillian Peterson on May 15, 1930. Mr. Peters was employed with Eldred Refinery, Eldred, Pa., and later with Quaker State Refinery, until his retirement in 1971.

Mrs. Leonard died Monday in her home, apparently of a heart attack. She was 90. She was born Sept. 12, 1900, in Bradford, Pa., where she was reared and educated. Her maiden name was Davitt. An accomplished pianist, she provided accompaniment for silent films as a young woman. She married Thomas Leonard in 1925 in Bradford. Mrs. Leonard was a homemaker. She and her husband had lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Buffalo, N.Y. After her husband's death in 1971, she moved to the Portland area. Mrs. Leonard was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Private interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

REDMOND, EX-RESTAURANT OWNER Arthur G. Redmond, the former owner of the Penn Dutch Restaurant on Dania Beach Boulevard, died Friday in Tucson, Ariz. He was 85. Mr. Redmond owned the restaurant for about 20 years starting in the late 1950s, said his son Richard, 47. "I was only 3 years old when he started it," Richard Redmond said. Mr. Redmond was born in 1905 in Bradford, Pa., and came to Dania in the 1940s. He moved to Tucson about four months ago. The Penn Dutch Restaurant was well known for hearty cooking in the Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. Mr. Redmond and his wife often worked in the kitchen, where Mrs. Redmond would bake pies and Mr. Redmond would cook his specialties: roast pork and roast beef. During Redmond's tenure at the Penn Dutch, the restaurant became a Dania institution, Richard Redmond said. "He was one of the best," Richard Redmond said of his father's cooking. Besides son Richard, Mr. Redmond is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Redmond, also of Tucson; one daughter, Trudy; two other sons, Arthur Jr. and Pete; and 10 grandchildren.

She was born in Bradford, Pa., daughter of Aaron and Charlotte (Cohen) Greenberg, and lived many years in Buffalo, N.Y., before moving here five weeks ago. She graduated in 1931 from Bradford High School, where she was valedictorian of her class, and earned a bachelor's degree, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She was a librarian for many years for the Buffalo and Erie County library system before she retired. Mrs. Krieger was a longtime member of Shaarey Zedek Synagogue in Buffalo. Graveside services were held Thursday in Shearith Israel Cemetery. Memorial week will be observed through Wednesday evening at the residence of Stefan Krieger, 418 Ridgewood Drive, Richardson. Born in Bradford, Pa., the Rev. Herman attended Kenyon College and General Theological Seminary before being ordained in 1950. He served in various Texas cities for 10 years before entering chaplaincy training. In 1960, he moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he served 20 years as a chaplain in a psychiatric hospital. He retired in 1980, and he and his wife, Dorothy, moved to San Francisco and then to Rossmoor. He is survived by his wife and five children, Thomas of San Francisco, Peter of Stinson Beach, Margaret of Mill Valley, John of Cleveland and James of New York City. The service will be held at the 3:30 p.m. Evensong Service at Grace Cathedral, 1051 Taylor Street, with inurnment at the cathedral columbarium. MARKS Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at H. Patrick McEvoy & Bush Funeral Home for Alice M. Marks, 84, a former Gallagher Road resident who died Thursday at Cortland Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Bird Cemetery, Moravia. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 122 Tompkins St. Mrs. Marks was born in Bradford, Pa. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Willard, died in 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Mildred Wood of Hawaii and W. Ann Bliss of Cortland; two sons, Lewis White of North Carolina and Edward Marks of Virginia; a brother, Charles Merrill of Pennsylvania; a sister, Nina Maas of Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
