I only have one GREENE. She was my gg-grandmother, Cathrine GREENE. She was born 14 FEB 1825 and died 7 Jan 1897. She married Aden WRIGHT. That is all I know. She lived in Upper Fairfield Twp, Lycoming Co, PA. There were other GREENEs there, and the sate named a road, GREENE Road, in the area where Cathrine and Aden lived. The road runs through what the old-timers call GREENE Hollow. In making the rounds of cemeteries, there is clearly a GREENE presence along the typical migration path from Bucks and Berks Co's into Lycoming County. You find GREENE burials in the cemeteries along the rivers as they moved up into Lycoming Co. I wish I knew more, but so far I have not found anything else. At that time, there were no civil marriage or death records in Lycoming Co, so there's not much to go on. I have Cathrine's Bible, which gave me her maiden name, but there's not much else of help in it.
