Benjamin WRIGHT who married Eunice was my ggg-grandfather. I am a descendent of his eldest son, Aden WRIGHT (1819-1900). Benjamin married someone (currently unknown) in Bucks Co and had at least two children before coming to Lycoming Co. Those children were Aden and Benjamin: Aden WRIGHT (14OCT1819-7MAY1900) m. Cathrine GREENE (14FEB1825-7JAN1897) Benjamin WRIGHT (27DEC1820-25MAR1872) Benjamin WRIGHT then married Eunice Emma FARNSWORTH. Their details are: Benjamin WRIGHT (12APR1794-11DEC1873) Eunice FARNSWORTH (5FEB1807-28JUN1877) m. 5AUG1837 in Upper Fairfield Twp, Lycoming Co, PA Benjamin and Eunice had the following children that I've identified thus far: Robert WRIGHT (1838-1922) m. Catherine A. GRASS (1843-1924) Benjamin F. WRIGHT (1864-1888) C. Edward WRIGHT (1871-1945) William Henry WRIGHT (1877-1971) Rollin T. WRIGHT (1885-1959) Jacob WRIGHT 1840 (nothing more known) William F. WRIGHT (1842-1910) m. Margaret A. (1843-1887) Rosie L. WRIGHT (1875-1889) Second Wife: Sarah Jennie SWEELEY, widow of George BALL Sarah's dates (1849-1904) Phoebe WRIGHT (1847-1919) Maria WRIGHT (1848-1924) Martha Mattie WRIGHT (1850-1917) m. Mr. GEBHART Phoebe, Maria ad Martha are buried in Montoursville Cemetery, Lycoming Co. They share a large monument that was obviously expensive. I don't know why they are all buried together, especially since at least Martha was married. Interestingly, my grandfather, Oscar Aden WRIGHT, descended from Benjamin WRIGHT and his first wife, and my grandmother, Oscar's wife, (Iva Elizabeth MOYER) was a step-daughter to the son of Robert WRIGHT (William Henry WRIGHT 1877-1971), the eldest son of Benjamin and Eunice. I was 16 years old with William WRIGHT (Grandpap Bill) died. I remember him well because he lived with my grandparents, Oscar and Iva. He was one of Eunice's grandsons. I have Elizabeth WRIGHT in my database with a birth date of 1830 and show her married to a Charles FARNSWORTH (1819-1901). She is one of the WRIGHTs I have that I cannot connect to the family we know. Nevertheless, some of our lines are missing children in the generation that came from Bucks. I suspect she is one of those. Her proximity to the rest of the family and that fact that we've not uncovered any unrelated WRIGHTs in Fairfield Twp and environs makes it likely she is one of us. That is, unless, Charles married her from Bucks Co where there were many unrelated WRIGHT families. Benjamin and Eunice are buried in Buckley Cemetery in Upper Fairfield Twp, Lycoming Co. The cemetery is on the road from Montoursville up along Loyalsock Creek toward Loyalsockville. Their stones are barely legible, but I try to get there once a year to clean up a bit. Their son, Robert, is also buried there. Others in this family are buried at Christian Hill Cemetery near Warrensville and in Montoursville Cemetery. I would like to have your information for my database. Also, I would be pleased to send you mine. Can you use a GEDCOM? Also, what name and version is your word processor. I'll email you some reports from the database as well. I think it is easier to have both. I use Family Tree Maker 5.0b, so I can import most any GEDCOM. My word processor is Microsoft Word. I'm glad you wrote. It's always good to find someone else working on the same line. I look forward to hearing from you. I can't answer your question about Benjamin Wright's roots, but will give you info on the only two Wrights in Lycoming Co that I have in my database: Benjamin Wright md Eunice Farnsworth--no dates on either one. Eunice was the daughter of Robert Farnsworth (1782-1822) and Mary Wilkinson (d1823). Elizabeth Wright (no dates) md Charles Farnsworth (1819-1901). Charles was the brother of Eunice, above. I am descended from Mary Wilkinson Farnsworth's sister, Eunice Wilkinson, who married Jacob Konkle. Like your Wrights, the Konkle/Kunkle family is also to have come from Bucks County, but I've had no luck in finding them there. I would be interested in knowing anything you may have on the family of Benjamin Wright and Eunice Farnsworth. And I'll be happy to share anything I have on these families.
