I have reached a dead end in my WRIGHT research. I have traced my line back to my ggg-grandfather (Benjamin WRIGHT) and his siblings, but cannot find a link further back. We know that they came from Bucks County into Lycoming County from about 1820 to 1835. We cannot find records of their parents in Bucks County. A cemetery monument raised by Joseph WRIGHT MILNOR near Warrensville, PA, commemorating his parents states that Mary WRIGHT MILNOR was a devout Quaker from Bucks County. Descendents from other lines also recall a Quaker heritage, and in some lines, particularly Thomas and Amos WRIGHT, descendents continued in their Quaker heritage. Benjamin WRIGHT was drafted into the War of 1812 at Fallsington. The WRIGHT siblings and their spouses are: Mary WRIGHT (1796-1836) and Joseph MILNOR (1795-1867) Their son, Joseph WRIGHT MILNOR, born Bucks County 1819 died Eldred Township, Lycoming County, 1893 Amos WRIGHT (1790-?) and Mary (1797-1855) Probably four children born in Bucks County: Charles 1815 Benjamin 1817 Joseph 1821 Hannah 1823 Thomas WRIGHT (1796-1833) and Ann ENGLISH (1803-1889) Benjamin WRIGHT (1794-1873) and First Wife (?) Second Wife: Eunice Emma FARNSWORTH (1807-1877) m. 1837 At least 2 sons to first wife born in Bucks County Aden 1819 Benjamin 1820 Rebecca WRIGHT - Nothing known about her If anyone has come across these folks in your research, your assistance would be sincerely appreciated.
